confession time…
i love country music. and not just lady antebellum country (hate that band name btw. there’s a dude in the duo! anyone else boggled by this?!), i’m talking honky tonk let’s-marry-a-cousin-and-have-eight-babies country. heck yea! play me some garth brooks and i’ll die a happy girl. but i really feel like ive kinda fallen off the map with it lately... especially after catching a bit of Sunday nights CMA's. there isnt a single country station with in radio range which i can tune into while driving in my car {that is unless i decide to make the trip out to visit little miss HB which btw am planning to do more often!} nonetheless the last few days my pandora hasnt left the Jason Aldean/Luke Bryan station and was happily surprised by guest appearance by Luda via a vocal cameo on Aldeans Dirt Road Anthem (remix). i miss the driving days of a preset station when i used to make the treck from good ol' Alameda out to San Jose, i deff got in some primo hours of Sara Evans, Toby Keith and Kenny Chesney.
ive decided, this summer {which is right around the corner yeeeeeee} im dusting off my cowboy boots {and yes, i own a pair or three} and im headed to my very first country music concert! Trace Adkins in June...Kenny Chesney & Tim McGraw in July... whos coming with me?! i dont even know when im going, but i can already taste the beer! anyhillbilly- Below is probablly my most over played self created country music playlist cira 2001... cant believe i still have all of these old cds!
