bad habbits for 2 please...

Ok so I have a confession to make… I have a new horrendously fun habit...whenever I don't like something (like when hearing a bad joke, being tasked to do something unpleasant, etc. you get what im saying) I give a real big dramatic thumbs down, similar to the one you see in the picture above.  This isn't normally received with enthusiasm, but nonetheless sure is fun to do {call me immature, but it is what it is} and while most of the time I dislike something under the circumstances that don’t typically permit this action to be carried out  I have found an alternative. i have resorted to conjuring up the mental image of myself acting out a Big Fat thumbs down {again, like that pictured above}
This being said, have you ever worked with somebody that gets personal calls at work ALL DAY LONG? As in their spouse calling ON THE BUSINESS LINE to discuss such important things as HOW'S YOUR DAY, WHAT'S FOR DINNER, I MISS YOU, WANNA GO TO A SCREENING ON THE LOT TONIGHT blah-blah-blah-blah-blah etc.? This drives me out of my f-ing mind. Over and over this futz keeps calling his wife to talk about stupid sh*t. I HATE IT. Can't you text that stuff? Email it? Call the person on THEIR CELL PHONE so that you don't interrupt the work place?  Which is where my bad habit comes in... Yesterday I was daydreaming a little when I imagined myself walking right over to his desk and executing my horrendously fun habit… like while he was right in the middle of one of his {yes this means multiple} daily personal calls… there isn’t much that annoys me, but this reeeeaaaallly gets under my skin! Thumbs Down to your daily inner office borderline common area personal calls! A real wavering Thumbs Down to you buddy, take that s*it outside :0 ) thank you

Running on Empty...

I have a little confession to make... Something about running on Empty excites me! I'm not sure if its a product of my curiosity and wanting to really find out how far I can push that gas gauge... When it says empty, does it really mean its empty? Or is it a little bit of my lazy bones gene? I mean pulling over any where in LA really is inconvenient, even if it is to refuel....
and in case you were wonder, yes, my seat belt is on, no i am not driving with the emergency brake on and no, you don't need to worry about that "check engine" light- its just a false alarm- but a big YES to my gas gauge, it IS on empty- and right about now I'm singing in by best limbo voice "how low can you go- da-da how low can you go?!" I love my black beetle and you have done me no harm... hang in there! Daisy, I am on my way! p.s. Daisy is my new car in waiting! She is patiently waiting in the 94501 and has been since about 2001... Kidding! More like 2010, but I shall see you soon!
Soon to be driving Miss Daisy!

i believe its pronounced "still-ett-HO"

ok so with a little less than 48 hours until i land my A$$ in Vega$ baby, im must confess the trouble i continue to face on the shoe front aka my shoe hunt! after some some unsuccessful browsing which i did in Nordi's yesterday, i have yet another confession... i will let the picture speak for itself:

(yesss indeedy! i tried these babies on)

here you have it... and did i mention the pickings were S-to-tha-Lim yo! they must have been for me to reach for these Steve Madden 'Moskow' Pumps which by the way i have officially renamed the mirrored "still-ett-HO." again, yes, you did hear me correctly i said mirrored... while most of you may know i am in no way lacking in the height department in any way whatsoever! so my my originally 5 foot ten self stepped into these sky-high peep toe satin pumps with their mirrored platform and stiletto heel, you can imagine how a felt "modeling" them around the nordstroms sales floor... like a complete 6'5'' joke! I mean damn GINA! cant a girl get a decent shoe around here...? and not one that i might see on Santa Monica blvd after sundown! there is no way you will ever catch me rockin' these "still-ett-HOs"

any-shoe-fail!
is it friiiiiiiiiiiidaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy yet??

knock knock! who's there? Mercury!

knock knock! who’s there? Mercury! Mercury who? Oh wait… I know who, you are here!  you have arrived on our collective doorsteps in all your messy glory. you are my dreaded but oh so regular house-guest. staggering in my door, kicking over the furniture, leaving crumbs all over my couch & hogging my ever so small bathroom. then, as quickly as you appear, you disappear again, leaving me slightly stunned but much better equipped to continue with my life!
if you have no idea what i’m talking about, let me fill you in… the planets are swinging around us at all times, & their movements affect us all in different ways. all planets go retrograde, but Mercury’s journey seems to impact people much more than any other. why is that you ask? it’s because Mercury rules communication, clear thinking, truth & travel, so when it goes retrograde—which means that it looks like it’s going backwards in the sky—all those things go backwards. They start to get ugly & tangle up. Mercury isn’t really going backwards, it’s just hanging out by the sun, but from Earth, that makes it look like it’s in reverse.

In 2011, Mercury is in retrograde from…
March 30th to April 23rd
August 3rd to August 18th
November 25th to December 14th
