i can always count on jezebel to put it best... i remember it like yesterday... i would slip down the magazine isle while grocery shopping with my mom to try and sneak in a tiger beat mag! i loved that every issue came with at least 5 pinups and i was always uber excited when it included JTT (incase you are unaware JTT would be Jonathan Taylor Thomas) gone are the days, but apparently according to jezebel, these magazines aren't dead — some are promising retailers they'll feature Justin Bieber in every issue. But that urgency, born of scarcity of constant images, in a controlled time that was innocent in representation, if not reality, is gone.
